Monday
The day started as usual. Uffa got filled and emptied regularly, helped around the house and garden and in the afternoon we had a visit to the garden centre. All was well with Uffa until
suddenly about mid afternoon our normal sedate pup turned into a snarling, lunging scary monster. A one foot tall beast with big teeth and a bounce that would put Tigger in the shade!
Well, it would have been scary if you could have stopped laughing at him.
Is he still a scary hound? No, after teatime he just crawled back on my knee for a cuddle and my nose became safe again.

Busy Boy
Uffa has come on in leaps and bounds-literally at times over the last few days. Between us all Uffa's toilet is getting well used and the kitchen roll has been moved out of quick reach. We think he is occasionally asking out but it could be wishful thinking.
He loves his food and he is round to his cupboard, staggering through sleep, if he hears the rumble of the box.
Today he had a visit to B&Q and didn't want to leave. He was even stopped by a young man who wanted to take his picture. Uffa's Dating Agency here we come!!
He also had his first visit to Auntie Anne's for a cup of tea and soon fell asleep under the table. The conversation was obviously not stimulating enough.
Tonight a new use was found for the now empty toy box.

End of the First Week
It has been a quick week with Uffa. A little bundle who couldn't run without falling over has changed into a much sturdier wee pup. He still loves his cuddles so I'm happy!
We went to the vet to get him weighed today and found out he has put on 1kg. He got a biscuit from the receptionist so he'll probably be keen to return.
Today's big news is while playing in the garden he stopped, went to the toilet area and 'busied ' all on his own. Of course later he just went on the grass.
Evenings seem to be his most active with him having some 'puppy moments'. Stand back and light the fuse.
One question- How do you stop him trying to eat grass?

First Coffee Morning
Today started well with me going to see Uffa at 6.45 before he made any noise, and yet again a dry bed.
Normally Tueday is walk and coffee out, so today we went to the local garden centre and Uffa had a walk through. He enjoyed the smells in the pet shop best. Coffee was had back home as bladder control is still limited!
He then had fun in the garden, after a nap of course, helping empty and clean out the hanging baskets and like Alec (last puppy) he loved the hose.
He is getting bolder by the day and invetigating further and further.
As to training. He will now come back when shouted and sit when asked-well when a hand with a treat is put in the correct position.

No Monday Blues!!
What a start to a day. We were up before we heard him! Uffa even had a dry bed!
He has had a busy day helping wash floors and hoover. Then a spot of shopping this afternoon in Boots. Of course, all this activity has meant plenty of naps, usually on my lap. Toilet training progressing with more outside than in- so far today no puddles inside.

We made a video
After a good night Uffa had his first short walk in the street and visited the neighbours! Grandma, not wanting to miss out, has decided to visit for the day. As you can see, it was a lovely day, and perfect for playing in the garden.
Enjoy the video!

Day 2

Day 1
Uffa had a really good first night and was only heard a couple of times for a minute or so. That is not to say I am not tired as I spent half the night listening for any problems!
He got up at 6.15a.m. and his bed was dry. What a dog!
After filling, emptying (in the proper place), and a bit of playtime he fell fast asleep again. He obviously knew he had to be bright and alert for his first puppy class.
Yes, first class went well. No puddles and fell asleep again on my knee. What a life!
After lunch, yes, you've guessed another nap.
Let us hope we get another good night.

Uffa's Arrival
Uffa has arrived and is full of life and very nosy. He has had a drink and busied in the garden, so in and out is good. He tried to nap but too much was going on.
After a couple of hours he eventually conked out on the kitchen floor and is fast asleep and dreaming of more action by the twitches.
We have had some lunch while peace reigns!

Arrival!
Today, cleaning and tidying were all done at a rapid speed while anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new puppy - Uffa! We hope there will be some explanation where his name comes from as we have never heard of it before.
It must be a big day as our son Graeme has come home to visit!
